Shipping Tips

Your film is precious cargo. Here’s how to ship it to us safely.

1) Include Your Name, Order Number, Address, and Phone Number

This allows us to double-check the number of rolls you sent vs. the number of rolls that arrive and ensures your film is processed and scanned correctly. You'll receive your order code in a confirmation email after ordering online. Just write your name, order code, phone number and address on a piece of paper and slip that in your bag of film.

2) Use a Zip-Close Bag

Liquids can be surprisingly harmful to unprocessed film. Place your film and order information inside a plastic zip-close bag to protect your investment. This also ensures your film stays together with your contact information if your box ever opens in transit!

3) Use a Box + Cushioning (Seriously)

We have seen too many rolls lost into the postal abyss because they were sent in an envelope. Don't do it! A box + plenty of cushioning = a simple way to ensure your film's safe journey. (Pro tip: USPS provides Priority Mail boxes at no charge.)

4) Use Plenty of Tape

This is not the time to be stingy! Tape over the sides. Tape over the flaps. Tape over the peel-and-stick seals—we’ve seen them fail en route. Tape, tape, tape! Then more tape.

5) Get a Tracking Number

Don’t mess around. This can be the deciding factor in locating lost film.

6) Sending in Multiple Shoots?

No problem! Fill out one order per shoot and add them to your cart. Separate each shoot (with its corresponding order code) into its own zip-close bag.

7) Send to PhotoVision

You can download our pre-addressed shipping label or, if you prefer, hand-address your package in swanky calligraphy to:

Attn: Film Crew
3775 Market St NE
Salem, OR 97301
